Hand Heart Pocket donates $75,000 for North Queensland flood relief – how you can help

Nq Floods

Today, Hand Heart Pocket is announcing a $75,000 donation to GIVIT on behalf of the Freemasons of Queensland, ensuring urgent relief reaches people impacted by flooding across North Queensland.

Cardwell, Ingham and Townsville are experiencing devastating flooding, with entire towns isolated by flood waters and losing power. Thousands of homes and businesses have been inundated so far, with rivers and waterways expected to continue to rise over the coming days.

As the disaster continues to unfold, we are working closely with our partner GIVIT as they assess community needs and begin to coordinate relief and recovery efforts.

Thanks to our ongoing partnership with GIVIT, Members can be assured that our response is activated quickly and effectively whenever disaster strikes, and importantly, that 100% of any donations will directly support affected residents.

Funds raised through Hand Heart Pocket’s Disaster Relief Appeals provide communities with emergency essentials such as food, clothing, and medical supplies during the crisis, as well as helping families replace essential household goods once they can safely return home.
