Chris Wade brings extensive experience in the management, investment and financing across the climate technology, energy transition and impact investment sectors.
In addition to his role with Hand Heart Pocket, Chris currently holds a number of Non-Executive Director and Investment Committee roles with climate technology, energy transition and impact focused companies and investment funds including Dragonfly Enviro Capital, Igneo Infrastructure Partners, Nambawan Super and Bygen. Chris is also an industry lecturer for the University of Queensland’s Masters of Investment Management private equity and venture capital course.
Chris’ executive experience includes nearly 25 years in private equity investment and funds management across both the private and public sectors, with CEO and senior executive roles with the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF), Clean Energy Financing Corporation (CEFC), Deutsche Bank, AMP Capital and Macquarie Bank both in Australia and overseas.
Chris’ qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Materials), Bachelor of Commerce, Masters of Applied Finance and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
